Makes No Difference Who You Are, Believe
It’s ZanYe’s 3rd annual Joy of Giving Toy Drive & Benefit Concert sponsored by I Believe Entertainment. This Christmas, ZanYe’s Toy Drive will directly benefit 200+ children who are participants of Yatooma’s Foundation for the Kids and SAFE. ZanYe wants to acknowledge the very meaningful work both nonprofit organizations are doing to impact children and their families and ZanYe is asking for your help.
For your donation of $25.00 or more, ZanYe will gift you with a complimentary download of her latest hit-single ‘Conversations‘ and you receive VIP seating at the Joy of Giving Toy Drive & Benefit Concert on December 19, 2014 at 7pm with your name listed as a generous donor in the official program.
Join ZanYe and friends at the Virgil H. Carr Cultural Center for a wonderful evening of holiday elegance in concert with the spirit of giving featuring internationally renowned trumpeter Lin Rountree. It is during this special and intimate event that ZanYe takes time to receive toys from supporters and sponsors. The benefit concert is her way of thanking and celebrating everyone!
Although ZanYe’s philanthropic efforts benefit children and their families at both The Yatooma Foundation for Kids and Sisters Acquiring Financial Empowerment (SAFE), it is also an inspiring tribute in memory of her late sister and best friend, Christina Lazzana-Webster who was a fatal victim of domestic violence.
ZanYe explains, “I just want to give back as much as I can and year round, but especially during the holidays, when many children who are under-served may struggle with depression; feeling sad and forgotten during Christmas-time. I want this small gesture of receiving a toy to remind them they are not forgotten and someone does truly care.”
ZanYe’s spirit of giving back is infectious and impressed the founder of Worship Fest Akron 2014 so much that on December 13, 2014, Dee Howard teamed up with ZanYe and encouraged Worship Fest Akron concert goers to bring a gift of a toy to support her efforts. Worship Fest Akron featured Grammy Award Nominated Dr. Ricky Dillard and New G, Earnest Pugh, Grammy Award Nominated Anita Wilson and Jennifer Mekel.
And, everyone remembers in July 2014, when ZanYe leveraged her CD Release Concert to create awareness and raise funds for The Wright Museum and teamed-up with Actor Darrin Henson (Stomp the Yard, Soul Food) to raise awareness and funds for the museum. Henson was impressed as well with ZanYe’s spirit of giving and supported her philanthropic efforts. She released her sophomore project Conversations July 2014 and is signed to the Soundthought Recordings record label.
The Virgil H. Carr Cultural Center is located at 311 E Grand River Ave, Detroit, MI 48226, (313) 965-8430. For details and about the Joy of Giving Toy Drive and Benefit Concert and how you can support, please call 774.234.7632 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
